Rumour: Nvidia Creates “Order Of 10” Puzzle To Tease Pascal GPU Launch

Just like its “red” rival, Nvidia too has created a website dedicated for its upcoming next generation Pascal GPUs. However, unlike AMD, Nvidia’s microsite contains a puzzle that needs to be solved. Dubbed the “Order Of 10”, the puzzle contains six triangular pieces that forms a hexagon. According to sources, selected tech sites and reviewers received a “mysterious” briefcase that contains one of the six triangles.

The puzzle has already been solved; which led to a new page showing a countdown timer which interestingly ends on the 6th of May. There are strong rumours being reported recently saying that Nvidia will be hosting an editors event that will be happening on.. you’ve guessed it, the 6th of May.

However, there is one slight issue with all of this: there was no mention of Nvidia. Nope, not on the website nor the “mysterious” briefcase mentioned the brand “Nvidia”. Which may lead a few to think, how could one be sure that all of this is from Nvidia? Unfortunately, there isn’t any concrete evidence indicating that Nvidia was behind all this.

Despite this, folks over at VideoCardz have found that the fonts used in the triangles are supposedly Nvidia “trademarked”. In addition, the six triangles unlock different puzzles, which are aptly named: Collision, Structure, Circles, Compute, and Vision – all of which roughly represents what a GPU does.

That’s not all, one of the triangles mentions Johannes Kepler, for his discovery of elliptical orbits. Coincidentally (or not), Kepler was also the name for Nvidia’s GPU microarchitecture that was used in its GeForce 700 series graphics cards.

Whether or not Nvidia was behind all this remain to be seen. If so, then consumers should be expecting a consumer-grade Pascal GPU announcement very soon. Regardless, The Order Of 10 website can be found here.
