Razer ManO’War Wireless 7.1 Headset, Promises “Zero Lag”

Razer introduced a truly new pair of headphones, it has unveiled a brand new headset called the ManO’War.  Razer’s ManO’War headset offers features that promises lag-less operation, including multiple wireless antennas, frequency channel scanning and an advanced coding algorithm that ensures the 2.4 GHz wireless experience is on point.

The headset connects to a PC via a USB transceiver, and it also features 7.1 virtual surround sound, which is supported by the Razer Surround software engine. In addition, the Razer ManO’War has positional audio calibration for 360-degree fidelity.

In order to provide a lag-free experience, Razer has fitted the ManO’War with multiple wireless antennas as well as an advanced coding algorithm, which should eliminate any form of lag. The ManO’War also offers 7.1 virtual surround sound, a retractable microphone, and a battery life of up to 20 hours. As it is a wireless headset, the ManO’War connects to a PC via a USB adapter.

Not surprisingly, the ManO’War also features Chroma lighting; this seems to be the standard feature for many of its high-end products. Other than that, the ManO’War is also compatible with Sony’s PlayStation 4 systems, although the headset will only output 2.0 stereo audio when connected to the console. Interestingly, Razer did not mention if the ManO’War works with the Xbox One as well.
