Zotac Unveils The GeForce GT 710 Graphics Card; Uses PCI-E X1 Interface

Zotac has unveiled its latest graphics card: the GeForce GT 710. Based on Nvidia’s tiny but mightyGT 710, Zotac’s latest graphics card comes with one interesting feature: it uses the PCI-E 3.0 X1 interface. In addition to that, the GT 710 by Zotac is a single-slot graphics card, making it useful for those interested in building a small form-factor PC.

Though the Zotac GT 710 may not be capable of running Crysis 3 on Ultra at 100fps, it does however, appeal to a group of consumers that require a graphics card, but don’t want to use it for gaming. Amazingly, this graphics card comes with something that you won’t find even in a GTX Titan X: passive cooling. That’s right, this graphics card does not require aid from stock GPU coolers.

Specification-wise, the Zotac GT 710 comes with 1GB DDR3 VRAM, 954MHz of GPU clock speed and 1600MHz of memory clock speed. Interestingly, this monster of a graphics card only needs 25W of power to run efficiently. When it comes to display outputs, the Zotac GT 710 supports VGA, HDMI and DVI.

Don’t be fooled by the specifications though; the Zotac GT 710 graphics card also supports new APIs such as DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5. Unfortunately, Zotac did not mention the price and availability of its GT 710 graphics card yet.
