Microsoft Outlook Now Can Open in Android Wear Smartwatch

Last year, Microsoft bring Outlook to the Apple Watch. With the excellent iOS companion client it was a combination that easily beat Apple's own mail program.

Now, Android Wear client can download Microsoft's Outlook email app . Once downloaded, you'll be able to receive notifications, read your email, reply with pre-set messages, or reply with voice dictation. You can also scroll to see more email content in the notification window. Microsoft's Android applications continue to improve with the latest Outlook update bringing notifications and the ability to respond to email to your wrist.

It is one of the rare dedicated apps to come out for Android Wear of late. So Microsoft's upgrade for one of the best third-party email apps out there should be welcome, especially for those who prefer to try and get the most utility out of their device without having to take their phone out.

With such support for Outlook may have me mounting another Android Wear device on my wrist as Outlook is my favorite email and calendar app on Android and iOS.

And support for Android Wear just makes it even better.
