Gigabyte has announced four new BRIX mini PCs that are equipped with Intel’s Skylake processors as well as Thunderbolt 3 technology. Gigabyte’s four new BRIX mini PCs are called the GB-BSi5T-6200, GB-BSi5HT-6200, GB-BSi7T-6500, and the GB-BSi7HT-6500. According to Gigabyte, all four BRIX mini PCs are compatible with M.2 SSDs.
According to Gigabyte, its BRIX mini PCs – coupled with Intel’s Thunderbolt 3 technology – is capable of bandwidth speeds of up to 40Gbps and is able to power a 4K display at 60fps. Aside from Thunderbolt 3, all four BRIX mini PCs are also fitted with a microphone and headphone jack along with an SD Card reader; four USB 3.0 ports; one HDMI 2.0 and mini DisplayPort port; and finally Ethernet and DC-In ports.
